Eye exams

Comprehensive eye examinations are performed that determine the eyeglass prescription that give you your sharpest vision and a thorough eye health examination. We check for ocular conditions (such as cataracts and glaucoma) and for systemic conditions (such as diabetes or high blood pressure) that can affect your eyes. If you want contact lens or currently wear contact lens, fittings are necessary, and performed to determine the best type of contact lens to fit your lifestyle.


Urgent Care

Pink eye, foreign object in eye, corneal abrasions, ocular allergies are just some of the conditions that are treated. After hours care is available.


Frames

Fashion frames well within your reach to designer frames lines. Dr. Optical has what you need and desire. Frame lines include Guess, Bongo, Tommy Hilfinger, Jessica McClintock, Jones New York, David Benjamin, and Harley Davidson.


Lens

  • Single vision, bifocal, trifocal, Progressive Lenses (no-line bifocals)
  • Photochromatic (Transitions, Drive Wear are examples)

Did you know there are over 200 different types progressive lens designs available? Dr. Optical uses the latest designs including some that can be individually tailored to your prescription.


We prescribe and evaluate all major brands of soft and rigid contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems. Specialized fitting may include: Monovision, bifocal contact lenses, astigmatism contacts, Ortho K and Keratoconus. We have experience in modifying and polishing contacts. Our staff are able to answer many of your questions and are available for ongoing contact lens instruction and training.Contact Lenses
